Update Four:

On Day Six we heard from Fr Fernando Montano, Parish Priest of St Bernadette’s Parish at Castle Hill and the Episcopal Vicar for Social Welfare in the Diocese. Day Seven of the First Assembly of the Plenary Council

Thank you for reading our updates and following the First Assembly of the Plenary Council. As the sessions concluded today, this will be our last emailed update for the First Assembly. The closing Mass will be livestreamed tomorrow, Sunday 10 October 2021, at 11am.

Archdiocese of Melbourne Archbishop Peter A Comensoli celebrated Mass on Saturday, October 9 for the Fifth Plenary Council of Australia. You can watch it here.

At the end of Day Four, Theresa Simon from the Maronite Eparchy, Bishop of Sale Most Reverend Greg Bennett, and Sr Catherine Reuter RSM of the Sisters of Mercy Brisbane gave their wrap up of the day.

Update One: 3/10/2021

On Sunday 3 October at 11am Bishop Vincent will celebrate a Mass for the Plenary Council at St Patrick’s Cathedral, Parramatta. Watch the livestream of this Mass.

Welcome to the first update from the Diocese of Parramatta for the First Assembly of the Plenary Council.

From Monday afternoon we plan to send you daily updates to help you share the experience of the Plenary Council with your parishioners on your own social media channels and websites. We will send you social media posts, articles, Mass resources, and prayer resources to help parishioners accompany the Members of the Plenary Council in their spiritual conversations and discernment.
